Schedule
Our class session for the second semester of the 2013-2014 school year will begin Monday, January 6, 2014 and will run through Wednesday, May 21. I have allowed May 22 and 23 for make up days due to illness in my family or severe weather*. If your child is ill, assignments from our class sessions can be made up at home. 90 days of academic work of the required 180 days for the full school year will be covered. Students will attend classes each Monday through Friday from 8:30am-12:30pm. Occasionally, homework may be sent home but it will not be sent home daily. Additional school days may be counted by your family for field trips or additional work your child completes at home and not assigned by Teachable Moments Academy.
Vacation days include:
Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21 - Mid-Winter Break
Monday, March 31 - Friday, April 4 - Spring Break
Friday, April 18 - Good Friday
*Parents will be notified by 7:00am if classes are to be cancelled due to illness or severe weather.
Fees
With the full 5 day schedule fees for Teachable Moments Academy are $75.00 per week or $300.00 per month. There is a 10% discount for siblings. All classes, books, materials, assessments and transcripts are included with fees. There are no additional program fees, book fees, snack fees, or application fees. There may occasionally be an additional cost for field trips, but these are always minimal and will be charged as the field trips are planned.

Please let me know as soon as possible if your child(ren) plan on attending the spring semester. If your contact information has not changed, you do not need to fill out another admissions form.
